Answering your well water questions

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What area do you provide service in?

We are based in Watertown but serve all of Connecticut.

  • Do you offer 24/7 emergency service?

Yes! You can call us any time of the day or night for emergency services, especially if you have no water.

  • How long do your well services take?

The length of time will always depend on the service needed, but our jobs are typically completed within 3-5 hours. Most jobs are completed within one day.

  • Is my water safe to drink?

Your well consists of its own unique water chemistry that can cause issues in your home/plumbing from pinhole leaks to staining to serious health concerns. We strongly urge all private well system owners to get their water tested, whether you drink the water or not.

  • How do I know what filtration I will need?

Filtration recommendations are based on the water quality. A test of your well water will reveal what filtration is needed/recommended at your house. If you’re new to a home or have problems going on with your water, have us come out today to test it so we can resolve your issues!

  • My water just stopped — can you come out today?

Yes. We offer same-day emergency service for total loss of water. Call us and we'll dispatch a technician (typically within hours). Diagnostic rate is $169 + tax for the first hour on-site.

  • Why does my well smell?

A smell from a well system can indicate bacteria, low recovery, or a stagnant pump situation. We'll diagnose the cause during the service visit.

  • Another company said I needed a pump, then said the water table is low. Who's right?

We see this often. We start by eliminating variables: water-level check, electrical/mechanical pump test, then a pressure test to rule out leaks before any replacement is recommended.

  • Do you do well drilling?

We service and repair pumps and well systems. If your well needs to be deepened or re-drilled, we'll refer you to a trusted local driller.

  • What towns do you service?

Primary CT service area includes Farmington, Naugatuck, Rockville, Hartford, Waterbury, Southington, Wallingford and surrounding towns.
